2021 Club membership! Club Membership for this year is now due and you can now pay for it online! You can complete 2021 membership through www.foireann.ie. All players and coaches must be registered before they return to play, this is to ensure all players are fully registered and insured. Membership prices are the same as last year and full details on how to register are on the club facebook page. If anyone is having any issues with registering, please contact Shane Green, Paula Drumm or Marie Allen. Massive thank you to everyone who helped out on our volunteer morning Saturday. We now have the grounds ready for the season, and were able to add the finishing touches to our new club gym.
The first competitive games of 2021 start on Sunday with our senior ladies. We have 2 ladies teams entered into the 9aside competition. Kinawley A is away to Tempo, and Kinawley B is away to Belcoo. Both games are Sunday 9th at 11am. U17 ladies are at home to Belcoo Thursday at 7pm. Good luck to all teams, please note under current GAA & LGFA regulations no spectators are allowed to attend.
Coaching for current preschool, u6 (p1/p2) & u8’s (p3/p4) started Thursday 6.30-7.30! Coaching for u10.5 (p5/p6) started Wednesday 7-8pm. We ask all youth players parent or guardian to complete their return to play questionnaire before each training.
As the grounds get busier with the return to football training, please drive with care and be mindful of walkers using our grounds. Please also help to help our club grounds tidy by putting any litter in the bins provided. Thank you to all who helped with the recent maintenance of our club grounds and the work completed on our training pitch.
It is very positive to see teams back to training and a massive thank you to everyone who helped out as Covid officers. Swanlinbar GAA Notes 3rd May 2021 Due to official government guidelines re Covid-19 we have had to cancel our drive-in Bingo and also our Blotto We are all waiting patiently on the nod to restart our bingo Our Blotto will start at €12000 you can now do your Blotto online at Https://www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Swanlinbar St Marys/lotto Cut off time is 6pm on Monday for that week’s draw Bingo Total prize fund which can be won at the next Bingo is €9800 Snowball on game 5 on 45 calls or less for €6,500 Quickie game for the line €100 and for panel €250 On game 10 there is the usual €1000 to be won.
Scenic River Walkway Work is continuing on our Scenic River Walkway Tarmacadam has now been laid and the last of the bollard lights are going in and we are waiting on some extra lights to be fitted but don’t let that put you off walking it in day light. No adult bicycles, no skateboards and no dogs allowed (except guide dogs) due to Health and Safety Rules.

Gaa Insurance Following February’s Cavan County Board Gaa meeting it was advised that there is no insurance cover for any type of training on Gaa Grounds. We will update you when we know more.

7. St Mary’s Apostolic Society Swanlinbar are running a Centenary Draw to mark 100 years. Tickets are €50 each and a draw will take place monthly from 25th June 2021, 1st Prize €200 2nd Prize €100 Tickets can be bought from any committee member. We value your support. Thank You.
