Re-opening of Walking Track - It is with pleasure that we announce the walking track at Patrick McManus Park has been reopened for club members. It will be open from 5pm - 9pm daily and will be run according to the guidelines issued by Croke Park. We ask all users to take time to read the guidelines which will be on display at the clubrooms where patrons are also asked to sign in the book provided. This is to facilitate track and trace if there are any cases of Covid-19 in the area. Hand sanitiser will also be provided at the signing-in station. We ask users to allow from 5pm to 6pm daily to refrain from using the track to facilitate those in our community who have been designated as vulnerable. Users are asked to follow the arrows around the track which will guide them in a clockwise direction. Social distancing will have to be adhered to with only people in family groups walking together and at least 2 metres from other people. We hope that people will continue to use the track as they did before the lock-down when the behaviour of walkers was impeccable and we thank them for that. However, we must remind users that if there is any misuse of the track or any entry on to the pitches which remain closed, the facilities may have to be closed again.
