Guides for gaining indulgences for the faithful departed: From 12 o’clock noon on 1st November until midnight on 2nd November all who have received the sacrament of Confession and Holy Communion and visiting a church and praying for the Pope’s intentions, reciting one Our father, One Hail Mary and the Apostles Creed.  People who visit a cemetery and pray for the dead may gain a plenary indulgence for the Holy Souls from 1st to the 8th November, again the indulgence apply to those who have gone to Confessions and received Holy Communion. Confession after Mass on Friday evening and again after Mass on Saturday Morning.

Good luck to the senior ladies in their Ulster Club Final against St. Paul's (Antrim) on Saturday 26th October in Emyvale.  Throw in is at 2pm.  We wish the entire team and management the best of luck.  Hard luck to the Minor girls who lost out to St Ergnat's, Moneyglass (Antrim) on Sunday in the Ulster Club Championship. Our senior men's Ulster Club Championship Quarter Final against Glenn (Down) is down for Saturday 2nd November.  Throw in is at 7pm in Brewster Park. Gaelic4girls is starting. Kinawley GFC are hosting training for girls - open to girls in P4, P5, P6 & P7. This is a fantastic opportunity for our underage girls to get involved in Ladies Gaelic Football.  The programme is focused on fun and participation, allowing girls an introduction to ladies gaelic football in a non-competitive environment. It will be held in Kinawley Community Hall Tuesdays from 7-8pm @ £1.50 - cover hall cost. Ranganna Gaeilge - Irish Classes are starting in St.Aidan's High School, Derrylin on Thursday 7th November from 8 - 9pm.  These classes are perfect for anyone who has always wanted to learn Irish but didn't know where to start.  You don't have to know any Irish to take part, everyone is welcome Please spread the word.

Kinawley Community Centre Annual Halloween Fireworks family fun event with Boxty and bacon and The Party Bees will be entertaining.  Everyone welcome- 1st November 8pm    Seniors Daffodil Club – is on @ 10.30am in the community centre with fun activities and refreshments each week, great way to start the week off. 6. Fundraiser in Aid of Macmillan Cancer Care Support &The North West Hospice On Sunday 3rd November there will be a Coffee morning & cake sale at 12 noon in the Rainbow Glenfarne followed by a Tractor Run In Memory of Mickey Bowles.

7. Spooky Halloween Orienteering Will take place on Saturday 2 November at 6pm starting from Trivia House. Families of all ages welcome to join in on the night. Card Game Night Starting Friday 9 November at 9.30pm in Cuilcagh Cafe, Swanlinbar. Game of 25. Prizes ranging from Turkey to bottle of Whiskey. All welcome.
